BOURJOIS
Bourjois is a French cosmetics brand launched in 1863 by Alexandre Napoleon Bourjois, the inventor of the powder blush. Having been fed up by the oily make ups worn by actors, Bourjois came up with powder blush in 1863, which was exclusively made for the actors and actresses up to 1879 when they were made available for the public. The brand introduced the rice powder, one of its most popular brands, in 1979 and continued to expand its product list introducing eye shadows, various types of blushes, powders and lipsticks. Bourjois launched the first fragrance, Mon Bourjois in 1924 and the second fragrance, Soir de Paris, in 1928. The brand has over 30 fragrances in their collection today.
