GLORIA VANDERBILT
Gloria Vanderbilt came from one of the most well-known American families in the 19th century. She started as an artist first before working in the field of design and commercial art. She started working for Hallmark in 1968 to create greeting cards, as well for Bloomcraft, which was a textile manufacturer and also started to design some table wears. She was able to enter the fashion world when she designed a couple of scarves for Glentex which was a manufacturer. Since then, she also designer for different clients. In 1978, Vanderbilt was able to launch her own fashion company and sold the rights to her name to the Murjani group. Then, she partnered with L'Oreal to create a couple of fragrances.
