LAURA ASHLEY

Laura Ashley was a Welsh fashion designer and businesswoman who originally made furnishing materials in the 1950s. Laura Ashley design house was founded by Laura and her husband, Bernard Ashley, in 1953. Laura Ashley design house became one of the world's well known fashion and home furnishing design. She expanded their business into clothing design and manufacture in the 1960s. Laura Ashley passed away at the age of 60 in 1985 but still the company was able to begin their fragrances line in 1991 when they launched a woman's perfume, Dilys. The newest edition was released in 2013. The housesН nose was perfumer Azzi Glasser.
