The fragrance which was first introduced in 1978 but has a new edition launched in 2009 is designed for the confident ideal man who approaches life with a knowing grin. Azzaro Elixir Cologne is a blend of woody and oriental notes featuring pear, lemon, mandarin and black currant at the top, geranium, lavender and spices at the middle and oak moss, Tonka bean, benzoin and vanilla at the base. The nose behind the fragrance is Michel Girard.
